All shrines in the ashram are opened at dawn 5 AM.
Anointing with sacred water (called abhishekam) and arati followed by sweet pongal (rice pudding made with jaggery) oblation are given to Sezhunchudar Vinayagar, Kaala Nagam, Mahaan Sri Seshadri Swamigal, Manasa Devi Amman, Sri Ardhanareeswarar Chakram, Annai Sri Umadevi, Sri Dakshinamurthy, Sri Durgai Amman, Mahaan Sri Bhadrachala Swamigal, Gnanapeedam Nayagargal, Sadai Swamigal.
Homa (yagna) is conducted at 9 AM for the welfare of the world peace.
Mid day pooja at 11 AM is also performed. Abhishekam is also done to Mahaan Sri Seshadri Swamigal and Annai Sri Umadevi shrines. After the pooja, venn pongal and curd rice are offered as prasad to devotees.
Maheswara pooja for saints are also performed followed by anna-dhaanam (means sacred act of offering food to the needy people) at Annapoorani hall.
All shrines are closed at 12:30 PM and again opened at 4 PM.
Abhishekam and poojas followed by arati are performed to Mahaan Sri Seshadri Swamigal and Annai Sri Umadevi around 6 PM. Samadhi of Sadai Swamigal, Kannadi Swamigal, Naga putru (snake den) and Tulasi Maadam (holy basil plant) are lit with lamps. All shrines are perfumed with dhoop and arati are shown.
Devotional songs such as thevaram, tiruvacakam are sung between 6PM and 7PM followed by distribution of prasad to devotees.
All shrines are closed at 9 PM.
Though this routine is followed almost everyday, it is altered on important auspicious days such as Aradhana (star on which samadhi attained) and Jayanthi (star birthday) of Mahaan Sri Seshadri Swamigal and Annai Sri Umadevi.
